Three Marketing Strategies

We are developing new products based on three marketing approaches under the More Changes! concept.

■ Generation
Our products are tailored to the needs both of our traditional core customers — young men in their 20s and 30s — and of working women and members of the baby-boom generation.

■ Price
As customer preferences diversify, our aim is to achieve a good balance of products at a wide range of prices, from high-quality, low-cost items to high value-added products.

Working together to build up our strengths

1. Cross-Category Brand Strategy
We are creating new brands with universal values such as environment-friendliness and health promotion — going beyond conventional category boundaries.

2. Five-Band Temperature Strategy
Using a five-band temperature-zone spectrum from frozen to piping hot, we are using new ingredients and off ering customers new dining and taste experiences.

3. Regional Strategy
We are developing closer local links in product development, and overhauling our food procurement systems in Europe and overseas, and realizing better product development and promotion through global networks.

4. Online Sales Strategy
We plan to create new ways of inducing customers to harness the limitless possibilities of Internet shopping.

5. Corporate Social Responsibility Strategy
We participate in the Zinomart campaign as part of our society contribution policy.

ZINOMART!! Convenience stores in special facilities such as large office buildings need to off er not only convenience but also an enjoyable experience for customers, who will tend to shop there day after day. Our flexibly designed ZINOMART!! stores are intended to meet these needs. Thanks to designs that harmonize with the building, ZINOMART!! stores provide customers with a space where they can shop while feeling totally at ease.
